10. Frequently asked Questions with Answers

1. Can anyone receive the camera signal?
Anyone operating a suitable receiver at the set frequency in the reception area (approx. 100 m with free space) can
receive the signal. The signal is not encoded!
2. What does free space mean?
Every obstacle such as plexiglass or windows weakens the signal. Metal interferes greatly with the signal. The image
gets worse and less stable by degrees the further the camera is from the receiver.
3. Why does the image quality suffer if the camera is moved?
If the vehicle and the trailer are moving this can cause image interference. This is because the signal arrives at the
receiver from different angles at times. Temporary interference is considered normal for wireless video transmission.
4. Is the camera suitable for outdoor use?
The camera in your package is classified as IP54, i.e. it is well protected against dust and moisture.
5. Can I expand the product with further cameras?
You can operate up to 4 cameras simultaneously. Ask you local retailer.
11. Guarantee Card

The guarantee does not cover:
1. Damage caused by natural wear and tear (wearing parts, sliding parts), overloading or incorrect operation.
2. Damaged caused by an Act of God or during transportation.
3. Damage to rubber parts, e.g. on connection wires. Guarantee repairs are only carried out at the manufacturing works
or an authorised repair shop! The manufacturer reserves the right to refuse any guarantee claim in cases of non-com-
pliance.
For this purpose the equipment must be returned to the point of sale in one piece, packaged and postage paid with the
original invoice and the guarantee card. Please give details of the nature of your complaint. The owner of the equipment
will carry costs that arise from unjustified complaints.
12. Electronic Waste
The operator is responsible for the correct disposal of the trailer camera set once it is no longer functional.
Please take the relevant national laws into account. The equipment cannot be disposed of with household
waste. In accordance with the EU guidelines on the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment commu-
nal collection points will accept the products or recycling depots free of charge or can be returned to retai-
lers who offer a return service. The orderly disposal aids environmental protection and prevents possible
