CONTROLLER FRONT PANEL :
1. TIME FX BUTTON
This button have several functions :
For the effect : this button is used to adjust the effect
-
parameters.
- During the sample playback : The button is used like the
pitch slider.
Note : The values of the parametrer can be saved if the HOLD
button is on before changed the parameters. If the HOLD
button is off, the TIME FX button operatinf like the pitch bend
button.
If you push the beat button, you cannot change parameter
with TIME FX button
2. RATIO FX BUTTON
During the playback of a sample, this button is used to adjust
the level of the sample. During the playback of a track, le
bouton RATIO FX permet d'ajuster les paramètres des effets.
Note : The values of the parametrer can be saved if the HOLD
button is on before changed the parameters. If the HOLD
button is off, the TIME FX button operatinf like the pitch bend
button.

3. SCRATCH / SKID EFFECT BUTTON
This button have three functions :
- When it lights in orange,you are in scratch mode. The
scratch effect simulate real time turntable scratching
- When it lights in red, you are in Skid mode. The skid
effect simulate the switch on & off of a turntable. In using
the TIME Fx & RATIO FX buttons, you can adjust the
start time ( TIME FX : 10ms to 10s ) & stoppping time (
RATIO FX : 10ms to 10s).
If you hold the button during 1s, the button will be flash.

You are in cue scratch mode. When you touche the
central part of the wheel, the placybacl restart from the
cue point.
Note : To scratch, you must to use the central part of the
wheel. It's a sensitive wheel. The rubber part is only use to
adjust the speed of the track or to make a frame by frame
research.
4. FILTER / PHASE EFFECT BUTTON
This button is used to activate and deactivate the FILTER
effect, when the EFFECTS SEL. button is amber. This button
is used to activate and deactivate the PHASE effect, when the
EFFECTS SEL. button is red. The TIME PARAMETER button
is used to adjust the FILTER/PHASE effect's scan time in
mini-second. The RATIO PARAMETER button is used adjust
the FILTER/PHASE effect's frequency sweeping range.
5. HOLD BUTTON
This button allows you to set and lock any new parameters
you set to the effects. This button will glow bright blue when
the hold function is activated. If the hold function is not
selected any changes to the effect parameters will be
momentary.
6. ECHO / FLANGER EFFECT BUTTON
This button have two functions :
- This button is used to activate and deactivate the ECHO
effect, when the EFFECTS SEL. button is amber. The
cho effect add echo on the music. The TIME FX button
adjsut the length of the echo (de 0 to 2s )) & RATIO FX
button adjust the repeat number.
This button is used to activate and deactivate the

FLANGER effect, when the EFFECTS SEL. button is
red. The flanger effect create an similar effect to the
frequencies phasing in & out of each other. The TIME FX
button adjust the parameters of the flanger effect& the
RATIO FX button adjust the level of the flanger effect.
7. PAN / TRANS EFFECT BUTTON
Thiis button have two functions :
- This button is used to activate and deactivate the
TRANS effect, when the EFFECTS SEL. button is
amber. The trans effect simulate in real time the cut in
the playback. The TIME FX button adjust the length of
the cut ( 0 to 10s )& the RATIO FX button adjust the
relationship between music and cut ( 0 to 255 : 0 = large
musique & little cut , 255 = large cut & little musique ).
This button is used to activate and deactivate the PAN
-
effect, when the EFFECTS SEL. LED is red. The pan
effect allows you to pan the output from left to right
channel. The TIME FX & RATIO FX buttons adjust the
same parameter : the time of passage from the left to the
right ( or opposite ).
8. FX SELECTOR BUTTON
This button is used to select the effects to activate. Press this
button to select the effects between SCRATCH / FILTER /
ECHO /TRANS and SKID / PHASE / FLANGER / PAN to
activate. The LED above the EFFECTS SEL. Button will
indicate which effects are selected, glowing amber for
SCRATCH/FILTER/ECHO/TRANS, or glowing red for
SKID/PHASE/FLANGER/PAN.
Note : severals effects can be used in the same time
9. SKIP TRACK BUTTON
These buttons are used to change track. If you push the left
knob, you restart the track or you select the last track. If you
push the right knob, you select the next track.
10. +10 BUTTON
Use this switch to jump 1 track at one press ( ex : with this
knob, you can jump from the track 1 to the track 11 ).
11. REVERSE BUTTON
This button activates reverse play mode. This function will
play your track or sample in reverse.
12. MASTER TEMPO ( TEMPO LOCK )
This button is used to choose the tempo lock mode and the
pitch control mode. Tempo lock mode allows tempo change
while maintaining the original key.
13. PITCH ON/OFF BUTTON
Using this button you can validate the pitch slider's functioning

CDD-450 support auto effect sync. Function. There are six
effect sycn. Sets for 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1/1, 2/1, 4/1 BPM, depends
on which BEAT LED is on, respectively. There is an
