Information on the use of cartridges
1. Use exclusively KEMPER butane cartridges art. 577/577LCL
WOODSUN. It may be dangerous to adapt other gas containers.
2. All operations of assembly and change of cartridges must be
done in well-aired places and far from flames, inflammable
materials and other peoples.
3. Read carefully the instructions on the wrapping of the
cartridge before using.
4. Never try to refill a disposable cartridge.
5. Remove the cartridge after each use in order to avoid
overheating the appliance.
6. Never expose cartridges at temperatures over 50°C.
7. Always keep the appliance away from children.
8. Never breathe in the gas coming from the cartridge or the
smoke produced while using the appliance.
9. Never smoke while handling cartridges.
IN CASE OF LEAKAGE (SMELL OF GAS) BRING YOUR
APPLIANCE
VENTILATED PLACE WITH NO INFLAMABLE SOURCES,
AND THERE YOU CAN LOOK FOR LEAK AND STOP IT. IF
YOU WANT TO CHECK THE Seal OF YOUR APPLIANCE,
DO IT OUTDOORS AND NEVER LOOK FOR A LEAKAGE
WITH A FLAME BUT USE SOAPY WATER.
Starting the appliance
1. Put the hot plate on a stable and horizontal surface. Do not alongside two or more burners.
2. Put the hot plate far from inflammables substances or things that could be damaged by heat.
3. Turn up side down the pot holder plate paying attention that the 90° angles are turned
towards the cartridge holder slot (see figure at right).
4. Make sure that the hot plate tap is CLOSED - Tap on position OFF (clockwise rotation).
5. Place the lever connecting the cartridge on the "LOCK" position.
6. Turn anticlockwise all the way the tap until it is positioned on "IGNITION" position;
continue the rotation until ignition occurs.
10. Regulate the flame according to your needs.
11. Caution: The device is not equipped with a security system for the automatic closing of the gas.
Shutting down the appliance
1. To turn off the fire, rotate completely clockwise the tap to the "OFF" position.
