3.
Place assembly into mounting pucks which are installed in truck (see Mounting Kit Instructions in Figure 7). Be sure that
anchor bushings are contacting all pucks with bushings and tee pins slid into puck slots. Anchor handles must be in the
unlocked position (turned inward or outward) to drop hitch into pucks. Adjustments to the anchor bushings may be
necessary for proper positioning by loosening the 1" jam nut.
4.
A. Tighten 5/8 bolts in center section to 170 lb-ft. of torque using 15/16 socket.
B. If the anchor bushings required previous adjustments, tighten all (4) 1" jam nuts inside base arches using the wrench
provided in the kit (PN 116596). Tighten each jam nut an additional 1/4 turn for proper torque requirement. The tee pins
should be snug tight with no vertical play in anchor bushing assembly. Exercise caution while torqueing the nuts and bolts
– the unit is not yet secured and could move or tip, causing severe injury.

5.
Rotate handles into locked position. It is normal for some of the handles to have very little or no resistance while others
have a moderate amount of resistance when locking. If a handle will not lock by hand tightening, it needs to be adjusted
(See NOTE C).
NOTE C: To adjust handle tension when locking, first remove hitch from pucks. Next, while keeping the handle to tee pin
orientation, remove the cotter pin. Rotate the tee pin counterclockwise ½ rotation, and replace cotter pin. If there is too
much clearance in the attachments when locked, the clearance can be removed by rotating the tee pin clockwise in
increments of ½ rotations, and replace the cotter pin (See Figure 8).
6.
Remove hitch assembly and lubricate tee pins in bushings with lithium grease (see Figure 4). Replace unit in pucks.
7.
Lock handles on both sides by placing lynch pins through handle holes (see Figure 11).
