Before cleaning the CD player or performing maintenance work, the following safety instruction must be observed:
Live components may be exposed if the covering is opened or components are removed.
Therefore, disconnect the device from all voltage sources before performing maintenance work
or repairs.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected
from all voltage sources.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the hazards
involved and the relevant regulations.
If you have to replace fuses, ensure that you only use fuses of the same type and rated current (see „Technical data").
It is absolutely impermissible to repair fuses or to bridge the fuse holder.
After disconnecting the device from the mains (disconnect mains cable!), use a suitable screwdriver to carefully
prise out the fuse holder FUSE 825) with the defect fuse.
Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
Now carefully screw the fuse holder FUSE (25) with the new fuse back in.
Only then may you reconnect the device to the mains and put it into operation again.
Otherwise, the device is maintenance-free. The outside should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or a brush.
Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could be damaged.

14. Disposal

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
