10. Changing the settings of the FenceAlarm
You can only change settings when the internal GSM of the FenceAlarm is
active. It is only active for a short while after an SMS message, or if you
switch the FenceAlarm to programming mode. See paragraph 4 – 1b
"changing settings".
Set the time
When you change the date and time, please take into account that the
FenceAlarm operates with a 24 hours clock. When you, for instance, want
to set 1 o'clock in the afternoon on 5 April in 2010 (13:00:00 05/04/2010),
then you send an SMS message to the FenceAlarm: TP:130000050410.
Set the perimeter voltage
The perimeter voltage is the minimal value that will activate the
FenceAlarm in sending a FenceAlarm SMS message. If you want to set the
perimeter voltage in e.g. 4.0kV, send an SMS message to the FenceAlarm
with: GV:40. This value can be set between 2.0kV and 9.9kV.
Set the day timer
This feature is a Handy tool for portable energisers to keep track of the
durability of batteries. The day timer counts the days that the battery will
operate. So, if your energiser operates about 40 days on the used battery
then you send the following SMS message to the FenceAlarm: DT:40. This
value can be set between 00 and 00 days. If the battery voltage becomes
too low, then you will be notified through an SMS message as well.
for this.
Current time and date. This is the time and date the
message was sent. The time and date in this example
is 21 hours, 44 minutes, 15 seconds on the 04 day of
the 03 month of the year 2010.
