Make or Take a Call and Text
MAKE A CALL:
1.) To make a call through ReVent Music Fan, make sure your phone is
1.)
connected via Bluetooth.
2.) Start the call by:
1.)
• Using the phone assistant to make the call. Try saying "Hey Siri, call Chris"
1.) •
or "OK Google, call Chris"
1.)
• Manually starting the call on your phone.
3.) If the fan is ON when a phone call starts, it will turn OFF to make sure the
1.)
quality of the microphone audio is as clear as possible. Once the call ends,
1.)
the fan will automatically turn back ON.
TAKE A CALL:
1.) When a phone is connected via Bluetooth and receiving an incoming call,
1.)
answer by saying "Pick up", answering manually on your phone, or press the
1.)
PLAY/PAUSE button on the control. To decline an incoming call, say "hang
1.)
up" or decline the call manually on your phone.
2.) If the fan is ON when receiving an incoming call, the fan will turn OFF. Once
1.)
the call ends, the fan will automatically turn back ON.
END A CALL:
1.) End a call on the phone by saying "Hang up", ending the call manually on the
1.)
phone, or by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button on the wall mounted control.
2.) If the fan was ON when the call started, it will turn back ON when the call is
1.)
over. If music was playing when the call started, it will resume when the call
1.)
ends.
TEXT MESSAGES:
1.) Send a text message by saying "Hey Siri" or "OK Google" and wait for the
1.)
chime.
2.) Say "Text" and then the name of the person you want to send a text
1.)
message to.
3.) Then say the message that you want to send.
4.) To read your text messages say "Hey Siri" or "OK Google" and then "read
1.)
my messages". Note: You might be required to manually unlock your phone
1.)
before your assistant reads your messages.
Pairing a Second Wall
Mounted Control
If a second wall mounted control is needed, it can be ordered from
ReVentfans.com.
You can pair it to the fan by following these easy steps:
1.) To connect a new control to the fan or re-pair the original control, completely
turn off the power to the switch and fan using the circuit breaker.
2.) Turn the power back on and within 20 seconds, hold the PLAY/PAUSE button
for 5 seconds.
3.) The status light will blink 5 times when paired successfully.
