12. Settings in OSD menu
! Open the OSD menu by pressing the menu button once or twice [13].
! Move to the required icon using the direction buttons [12].
! Press the OK [16] button to select the icon.
! Choose the desired setting using the direction buttons and the OK button.
! Use the menu button to go back in the menu.
! Press the menu button once more to leave the OSD menu.
! The OSD menu will close automatically after 20 seconds if no buttons are
pressed.
12.1 System Setup [49] - set time and date / reset
! Press the OK button once.
! Set time and date using the direction buttons and confirm with the OK
button.

For resetting the camera to factory default settings, select "Set to factory

12.2 Camera Setup [50] - camera activation / Scan Period -
automatic switching / quad display
! Use the direction buttons to select the required channel.
! Use the OK button to activate (ON) or deactivate (OFF) the camera paired
on that channel.
The scan period function can be used when more than one camera is paired to
the monitor.
! Using the direction buttons select between OFF (no switching or quad
display), 5 Sec. or 15 Sec. (automatic switching in 5 or 15 second interval,
between the activated channels) or Quad (Quad display): up to 4 camera
pictures are displayed in split screen, if a camera is not connected or not
activated, then the corresponding area of the screen remains black. You
can use the direction buttons to switch between the different areas of the
screen.
! Confirm using the OK-button.
12.3 Pairing [51] - pairing of camera and monitor
The camera included in the set is already paired with the monitor on channel 1.
If you wish to pair the camera to a different channel or pair an additional
camera (max. 3 additional cameras) to the monitor:
! Open the OSD menu by pressing the menu button [13].
! Select the desired channel using the direction buttons.
! Confirm using the OK button.
! Press the pairing button [25] of the camera within 60 seconds.

12.4 Power-Saving [52] - power saving mode
! Activate (ON) or deactivate (OFF) using the direction buttons.
! Confirm using the OK button.
If the power saving mode is activated, the camera picture will disappear after
approx. 2 minutes if no buttons are pressed; the power LED is still illuminated.
The picture can be recalled by pressing any button. If the vox function is
activated, the monitor will automatically switch on again as soon as a sound is
detected.
12.5 Alarm Setup [53] - select alarm functions
! Select the alarm mode using the direction buttons.
! Use the OK button to switch on or off.
In each alarm mode, the monitor will give an alarm for 15 seconds.
VOX - when the camera is triggered by voice
Battery low - when the camera battey is low
Out of range - when the camera or the receiver is out of radio transmitting range
12.6 Brightness [57] - set brightness
! Select the desired picture brightness (value 0 through 5) using the
direction buttons
12.7 VOX Setting [54] - voice detection
! In "VOX Sensitivity", use the direction buttons to switch voice detection on
or off or adjust the vox sensitivity level (level 1 = low sensitivity, only
reacts to loud sounds; level 3 = high sensitivity). Confirm using the OK
button.
! In "VOX Activate Recording", use the direction buttons to select on or off,
and confirm using the OK button. If this function as well as the voice
detection are activated and a formatted SD-card is inserted into the
monitor, a video sequence of approx. 30 seconds is automatically
recorded. Recording can be stopped manually before the 30 seconds are
over.
! Voice detection is only possible with the camera DF15K. The camera
DF20K is equipped with a very sensitive microphone and thus will record
permanently in "VOX Activate Recording" setting.
! If voice detection is activated, video images cannot be displayed in quad
format.
12.8 Playback [55] - playback of recordings
! Use the direction and OK button to select the desired date file (in
chronological order) and the desired recording (marked with green cursor).
! Press the OK button to select the recording, the first frame of the recording
is shown.

With the [12:
] button the playback can be stopped. Use the menu button to
go back to the date file. Alternatively the videos on the SD-card can be viewed
on a PC with a video viewer application (Media player).
12.9 SD Card Format [56] - formatting of SD card / deletion
