! If you want to install the camera outdoors, then protect the camera
against direct rainfall if possible. The mains adapter must be in a dry
location. The connection between camera and mains adapter cable must
be protected against moisture.
! Ensure that there is a possible cable routing at the installation location.
! The maximum range of the wireless signal is approx. 100 m (and up to
150 m in optimal conditions) with line of sight contact between camera
and monitor. Within buildings the range is greatly reduced by walls and
floors, in particular those made of steel reinforced concrete, to a
maximum of 20 m. Metal housings, shelves and mirrors also block the
wireless signal.
! The wireless transmission can also be affected by strong electric fields
and other wireless equipment. Ensure an adequate distance of the
camera and receiver to microwave ovens, cordless phones, mobile
phones, wireless devices in the 2.4GHz frequency band, electric motors
and high voltage devices or power cables.
! The monitor must be placed on a solid and level surface, ideally 1m
above the floor (optimal reception).
8. Installation and connection of the camera
The camera can be wall or ceiling mounted (see fig. E: I and II).
! For wall or ceiling installation mount the bracket [35] at a suitable
location using the screws [37] and if necessary the wall plugs [36]
provided.
! Screw the bracket into the appropriate threaded hole in the camera
housing.
! Adjust the angle of the camera to give the required view and then tighten
the wing screw [33] and the screw nut [34].
! Turn the antenna [20]into an upright position.
! Connect the DC-plug of the mains adapter [27] to the mains adapter
connection [26] of the camera cable.
! Connect the mains adapter with a suitable mains outlet.
! The POWER LED [28] lights red.
! For portable use, the camera can be powered by batteries for up to 2 hours.
Open the batterie compartment [32] and insert 3 pcs. AAA 1.5 V
alkaline batteries in correct polarity (see marking in battery
compartment). Switch the camera off [24] after portable use, and remove
the batteries before powering the camera via the mains adapter.
9. Connection of the monitor
! Fold out the stand [8] to stand on a level surface.
! Connect the DC-plug of the mains adapter cable [9] to the mains adapter
connection of the monitor[18].
! Connect the mains adapter with a suitable mains outlet.

! After connection of the power supply the system is in operation.
! Remove the protection foil from the screen [3].
! To record video insert a readable and unlocked SD-card in the slot [6], if
the card is not formatted then format it before the first use, as described in
chapter 12.9.
! Press the on/off button [7] on the monitor, the power-LED [11] lights
green and the camera picture will be displayed on the screen.
! The Lithium battery starts charging automatically when the mains adapter
is connected. Let the battery charge fully before portable use of the monitor
(without the mains adapter). Pay attention to the Battery LED:
Battery LED [10] lights red: battery charge low; connect the mains
Battery LED [10] lights green: battery charging, leave mains adapter
Battery LED [10] off:
! Turn the antenna [2] into a vertical position.
! To turn off the monitor hold the on/off button [7] pressed until "POWER
OFF" is displayed
11. Basic function
11.1 Wireless connection
The signals from a maximum of 4 cameras can be received. The camera with the
set is programmed in the factory to channel 1 (see Chanel indicator [39]).
The connection of the camera with the monitor is shown by the connection LED
[29] on the camera whilst the reception indicator [38] on the screen displays
the reception quality with up to 4 bars.

11.4 Recording
! Press the record button[5] to start video and audio recording (recording is
split in files of max. 30 seconds).

the monitor is recorded. In Quad function, no recording is possible.
11.5 Walkie-Talkie Function
! Press and hold the OK button [16] to be able to speak through the camera
loudspeaker. The microphone is located at the bottom left of the monitor.
11.4 Lullaby
! Press the lower direction button [12] to switch the lullaby on/off.
