c) Position the float where desired on the pond.
i. If anchoring the float to the pond bottom, lower one anchor block to the pond bottom, position the float where
desired and lower the other anchor block to the pond bottom, each oriented so that the ropes are at an angle to
the float (Figure 1).
ii. If mooring the float to the shore, position the float where desired and tie the mooring ropes to secure mooring
anchors on opposite shores.

d) Install the aeration pump/motor assembly to the float. No mounting hardware or tools are needed.
i. Lower the motor end-first through the hole in the center of the float and into the water.
ii. Rotate the pump/motor assembly so the power cord is oriented with the power cord channel in the float
(Figures 2 and 3).
iii. Continue lowering until each support tube rests in its corresponding float recess.
iv. Tuck power cord along channel of float until it exits from the float and into water.
v. Connect lanyard to eye-bolt of float (Figures 2 and 3).
