3.3 To use the S-blade accessory
Use the S-blade accessory to chop meat and vegetables.
Caution! Do not chop bones or other items with sim-
ilar hardness. Bones and other items with similar hardness
will cause damage to the S-blade.
Warning! Do not install the S-blade accessory on the
drive shaft before you have installed the bowl.

Put the product on a level and stable surface.

Install the drive shaft (A) on the base unit (B) and
make sure that it is fully attached. (Figure 3)

Put the bowl (C) on the base unit and turn it
clockwise until it is locked in position.
Note! The product will not start if the bowl is not locked in
position.

Make sure that the drive shaft can turn freely in the
bowl.

Install the S-blade accessory (D) on the drive shaft in
the bowl and make sure that it is fully attached.
Warning! The S-blade accessory has sharp edges. Do
not touch the sharp edges.

Put the food items in the bowl. Up to 400 g of food
items can be chopped at a time.
Caution! Bones or similar hard objects must not be
put in the bowl. Bones and hard objects can cause damage
to the product.
Caution! Larger food items must be chopped up into
smaller pieces before you can chop them with the product.

Put the bowl lid (E) on the bowl and turn the bowl lid
clockwise until the tab on the bowl lid is locked in
position in the slot in the bowl handle.
Note! The product will not start if the bowl lid is not locked
in position.

Put the feeder tool (F) in the feeder funnel on the
bowl lid.

Connect the power plug to an earthed power outlet.

Turn the control knob to the pulse function position
"P" to chop the food items until the food items have
the required size. Use the pulse function. Refer to "3.2
To use the control knob" on page 37.
Note! Food items can be added when you operate the prod-
uct. Put the food in the feeder funnel on the bowl lid.
Warning! Do not use your hands to push down food
items in the product. Use the feeder tool.
Caution! Do not operate the product for more than 90
seconds at a time with the pulse function.

Turn the control knob to the off position "0".

Disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.

Remove the bowl lid.
Warning! Do not remove the bowl lid when parts
move. Wait until all parts have stopped before you remove
the bowl lid.

Remove the S-blade accessory.
Warning! The S-blade accessory has sharp edges. Do
not touch the sharp edges.

Turn the bowl counter-clockwise and remove it from
the base unit.

Clean the base unit and the accessories. Refer to "4.1
To clean the base unit" on page 42 and "4.2 To
clean the accessories" on page 42.
3.4 To use the plastic blade accessory
Use the plastic blade accessory to knead dough.
Caution! Do not use the plastic blade accessory to
chop food items.
