11. Insert and Format MicroSD Card

The microSD card should be formatted using the FAT32 file system. Refer to your
computer software instructions for information about how to do this.
The camera supports class 10 SD cards 8 - 64 GB capacity.

12. Installation

a) Choosing a Location
• Take your time to plan the location. The camera recording angle and sensor detection is
affected by the placement of the device.
• Consider placing where the solar panels have maximum exposure to sunlight.
• Check that the device is within range of your Wi-Fi access point. Use of other 2.4 GHz
products e.g. wireless networks and microwave ovens may cause interference.
• You may need to set up a wireless repeater to improve the connection.
• The camera has a 1/4 inch threaded mount so can be attached to most standard camera
tripods (not included).
Insert a card into the MicroSD card slot (12) in the

direction shown. It will "click" into place.
• Remove using the tip of your finger to press down
until it "clicks", then release to eject.
