Set-up
Place the radio-controlled clock on an even, horizontal surface. Use suitable padding
to protect valuable furniture from scratches.
Do not place the clock near heaters; shield it from direct sunlight. Otherwise
the room temperature cannot be accurately measured.
Manually starting DCF search
Briefly push the "WAVE" button (6). Now the search for the DCF signal begins, the
small radio tower display flashes at the top right of the display. Reception takes about
8 minutes, do not move the clock during this time, do not push any buttons (to stop the
search, push the WAVE button again).
You can also wait a day so the clock conducts the DCF search automatically
during the night when better reception is possible.
If the radio-controlled clock cannot receive the DCF signal, you can set the time manu-
ally.
Setting mode
• To enter setting mode, push and hold the SET button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
• Now you can toggle between 12h and 24h mode (in 12h mode, PM appears next to
the time during the second half of the day).
Use the UP (3) and DOWN (5) buttons to change the displayed value; push and hold
to fast-forward.
Briefly push the SET button to move forward to the next setting. The order is:
12h/24h mode
time zone
hour
weekday.
The language for displaying the weekday can be switched between GER
(German), ENG (English), ITA (Italian), FRE (French), DUT (Dutch), SPA (Span-
ish) and DAN (Danish).
• Briefly push the WAVE button (6) to exit setting mode.
The clock automatically exits setting mode when no button is pushed for 30
seconds. Previously made settings will be saved.
For example, if you only change 12h/24h mode, the time zone or the language
for displaying the weekday, the radio tower symbol for DCF reception goes
out temporarily. However, the radio starts the DCF search at the next regular
synchronization time (1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 or 5:00 am).
Changing the temperature unit °C/°F
Briefly push the DOWN button (5) to switch the temperature unit between °C (Celsius)
and °F (Fahrenheit). The radio-controlled clock may not be in setting mode to change
this setting.

3 seconds. The alarm hour indicator starts flashing.

fast-forward.
• Briefly push the ALARM button (1), the alarm minute indicator starts flashing.
• Push the UP (3) or DOWN (5) buttons to set the alarm time minutes. Push and hold to

time, the bell symbol and "Z
" flash in the display (snooze mode is active). After 5
z
minutes, the alarm sounds again.
You can repeat this process several times.
• To turn off the alarm (or end snooze mode), push any button other than the

To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not apply too much pressure to the display to prevent scratches, malfunction or
destruction of the display.
Use a longhaired, soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner to easily remove dust.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solu-
