VI. INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION!
When opening the packaging, make sure that the LARYVOX
use-by date has not been exceeded.
Clean the skin around the tracheostoma in front of a mirror using warm water and pH-neutral soap or OPTIFAHL
cleansing wipes (REF 33200).
Dry the skin.
The skin surrounding the tracheostoma must be clean, dry and free from grease.
After removing the protective foil backing ➊, place the LARYVOX
the tracheostoma ➋.
You can then insert a HME filter cassettes/speaking valve into the integrated 22 mm connector ➌/➍.
Before removing the LARYVOX
To do this, fixate the LARYVOX
valve from the pad ➎ to achieve a long retention time of the pad.
Remove the LARYVOX
CAUTION!
Do not use any fatty creams!
Otherwise, secure attachment of the product is no longer ensured.
VII. CLEANING
General cleaning may be insufficient to meet the special hygiene requirements to prevent infections for
patients with specific problems (e.g. MRSA, ORSA etc.), who are subject to an increased danger of re-infection.
