Potential for false alarms
You can silence the FlammEx gas detector by pressing
the test button. The red LED will continue to flash
and a short alarm will sound approximately every 45
seconds. To fulfil its purpose and to ensure your safety,
the FMG 3637 FlammEx gas detector is designed to be
highly sensitive. The system's sensor may also react to
other gaseous media. The use of aerosols (propellants
in spray cans), as well as thick smoke and cooking
vapours, may trigger a false alarm.
