STEP 15 REMOVE PACKAGING,
START ICEMAKER
A. Remove all tape, foam and protective packing from
shelves and drawers.
B. Remove the tie downs from the freezer baskets.
Turn the Icemaker On/Off from temperature control
panel.
The ice maker will fill with water when it cools to 15°F
(–10°C). A newly installed refrigerator may take 12 to
24 hours to begin making ice cubes.
It is normal for ice to appear discolored in the first 24
hours of production, or after water filter replacement.
For Non Dispense models, throw away the first bin of
ice production.
NOTE: In lower water pressure conditions, the water
valve may turn on up to 3 times to deliver enough
water to the icemaker.
