12 SETTING THE PPM MODE OF THE Rx

There are hardware on the market using a positive PPM signal (this is the case your Pro-Tronik set) and others using a
negative PPM signal. To provide the widest compatibility, especially for wireless training, the receiver offers two types of
polarity. In both cases, the receiver provides PPM signal on the BATT / PPM connector and signals CH1 to CH6 applied to
the matching connectors.
The channel outputs and the PPM signal are available simultaneously.
As shipped with the factory configuration, the receiver delivers a positive PPM signal.

IMPORTANT : Do not, under any circumstances, connect a servo on the BATT / PPM output, this can destroy the
device.
12.1 SETTING THE NEGATIVE PPM MODE
1/ Turn on your transmitter and receiver, be sure they are correctly paired. The red LED on the receiver should be lit.
2/ Press the BIND button on the receiver for 5 seconds until the red LED turns off.
3/ Immediately release the button. The red LED will flash 2 times to indicate that the PPM signal is now negative.
4/ Check with the greatest care that you properly control your model or any other device using the PPM signal before
flying.
12.2 SETTING THE NEGATIVE PPM MODE
1/ Turn on your transmitter and receiver, be sure they are correctly paired. The red LED on the receiver should be lit.
2/ Press the BIND button on the receiver for 5 seconds until the red LED turns off.
3/ Immediately release the button. The red LED will flash 1 time to indicate that the PPM signal is now positive.
4/ Check with the greatest care that you properly control your model or any other device using the PPM signal before
flying.

Note that if the possibility of reversing the polarity of the output signal PPM allows you to get the widest possible
compatibility with devices of third party brands, Pro-Tronik however no warranties on the final compatibility of the signal
with all equipment of third party.
The signal can be used to directly feed a flight controller of Multi-Rotor for example.
In this case, a single cord between the input CH7 connector and the flight controller is sufficient to transmit all of the
channels orders.

IMPORTANT : It is essential to ensure that no objects can come press the BIND button during the flight of your
model, otherwise there is a risk of crash.
