Safety Instructions
• Current carrying unit ! Do not open or manipulate the
unit to avoid the risk of an electric shock.
• When working on the system always unplug the mains
plug from the power socket.
• Works on the system has to be done only by qualifi ed
personnel.
• Only the original power cable has to be used.
• In case of thunderstorm operations
on the system are not allowed !
Standards
All units are made according to the following standards:
EN50083-1, EN58003-2, EN60065, CLASS A, CE
Protective Insulation
The multiswitch series FMQ are within
protection category II with high insulation
between mains power and output power.
Place of Mounting
Indoor use only, application in a dry room. The
ambient temperature should not pass over +55°C. The
unit has to be mounted on a fi reproof support.
Grounding and Potential Equalization
In conformity with EN50083-1/VDE 0855 the
regional safety rules should be considered at the
installation of a satellite receiving system.
Disposal
In accordance with directive 2002/96EU dd. 27th of January
2003 issued by the European Parliament saying, used
electronic devices are not household waste. This items
has to be disposed at a designated public collection point.
