ASSEMBLING THE BATTERY/S
- Caution: During the handling of batteries, do
not touch both poles at the same time, as this
will provoke the partial discharge of the stocked
energy therefore affecting longevity.
- Remove the cover of the battery compartment.
- Check that the plastic covering that protects the
battery has been removed (some batteries are
sold with a protective covering).
- Put the battery in its compartment, respecting
the polarity (Fig.1).
- Replace the cover of the battery compartment.
- It is essential that the batteries should always
be the same kind and the same charge. Never
mix alkaline batteries with normal one (Car-
bon-Zinc) and/or rechargeable ones.
- N.B. When changing the batteries, the config-
uration of the appliance will be removed, and
you will need to reset the parameters of the
appliance.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all products' packaging has
been removed.
WEIGHING UNITS SELECTOR KG/LB/ST/OZ/
LB-OZ...:
- Set the unit of measure in "LB" or "KG" by pres-
sing the button on the bottom side of your scale
while the power is on. (Fig.2).
- After selecting the preferred measurement unit
the selected measurement unit will be activated
when the scale is turned back on. (Fig.3)
QUICKLY WEIGHING YOURSELF:
- If you would like to weigh yourself without going
through the more advanced settings options,
follow the below steps:
- 1. Make sure the battery is installed and the
scale is placed on a hard, even surface.
- 2. Step onto the scale.
- 3. The LCD will begin to display your weight.
When the digits flash, the weight is stabilized
and locked in.
SETTING UP YOUR PERSONAL DATA:
- To set up your personal data, follow the these
steps:
- 1. With the scale o, press the "SET" button to
power it on.
- 2. With the scale on, you can now select a user
profile. The scale's memory supports up to 12
users.
- 3. To select a user profile, press the "SET" but-
ton and use the up and down arrow buttons to
navigate through each user profile from "p-01"
to "p-12."
- 4. With a profile selected, you can now set your
gender. Use the up and down arrow buttons
located next to the "SET" button to switch
between male or female, indicated by a man
or woman figure on the left side of the screen.
Press "SET" again to lock in the gender and
move to the next setting.
- 5. You can now set up your age. Use the up
and down arrow buttons to adjust the number
on screen to match your age. When you're
done, press the "SET" button again to confirm
your age and move on to the next setting.
- 6. Finally, you can enter your height. Use the up
and down arrow buttons to adjust the number
on screen to match your height. Press "SET"
again once you've confirmed your height to lock
it in.
- 7. The screen should now be showing 0.0, and
is ready for you to weigh yourself
- To avoid inaccurate results caused by electro-
magnetic interference between electrical and
electronic equipment's, do not use this appli-
ance near to a cell phone or microwave oven.
