6. CB antenna connector
7. External speaker connector
8. DC power supply
Installation instructions
Check the CB radio and all its accessories before installation.
Power supply the CB radio with the cigarette lighter plug included in the
package. The CB radio must be powered at 12V DC.
The 3A fuse mounted on the power cord protects the CB radio from
the wrong polarity. If the fuse is blown, first remove the cause and then
replace it.
Check the connections before turning on the CB radio. Make sure there
is no risk of short circuit.
CB antenna connection
Connect the CB antenna to the antenna connector on the rear
panel of the CB radio. Tune the antenna in the CB band. For a good
communication distance, the SWR must be less than 2. Too high SWR
may indicate a faulty antenna, damaged cable or a short circuit in the
antenna connection
Never transmit without an antenna.
Note: The antenna must be mounted away from other antennas or sources
of interference. The CB antenna is usually mounted at the highest point
of the vehicle on a metal surface. A metal surface as large as possible is
essential for the correct operation of the antenna. For cabins made of
fiberglass or plastic, special antennas that do not require mass can be
used.
Instructions for use
1. Rotate the knob [5] to the right until you hear a click. The CB radio
will turn on. The blue indicator LED [3] will light up.
