Description of the activities
NUMBERS
Calculation
Twelve different objects appear on the screen. The computer selects an object. You have to count
how many times is this item displayed on the screen. To answer, use the 4 arrow keys on the mouse
and press
to confirm your choice.
Comparison
An equation appears on the screen but the sign of the operation is missing. Compare the numbers
and choose the missing sign (<,> or =) with
Count the insects
Some insects are displayed on the screen. The bird takes away insects and brings new ones. You
have to select the exact number of insects among the 4 options displayed on the right side of the
screen.

ON/OFF: Press the
key to turn the laptop on or off.
Note: The unit automatically turns off after approximately 3 minutes of
inactivity.
Volume: Slide the volume selector (located below the screen) from
right to left (+ to -) to adjust the volume.
Category key: Use the category keys to access directly to a category of
activities.
Language: Press this key to toggle between English and French.
Help: Press this key to display the answer to a question.
Note: This key is not valid for all of the activities.
Enter: Press this key to start an activity, confirm your choice or your answer.
4 arrow keys (Up/Down/Left/Right): The keys help you to browse
through the menus, move the cursor in 4 directions and play the
activities.
Mouse: The arrow keys on the mouse (blue circle) help you to browse
through the menus, move the cursor in 4 directions and play the
activities. The 2 "Enter" keys on the mouse (black keys) confirm your
answer or your selection.
