    Important Safety Instructions 1. Read all instructions and keep for future reference. 2. This air conditioner must always be used, stored and transported upright. 3. After being transported, the unit should be stood upright for a few hours (at least 6 hours recommended) before being turned on.

    Installation Location: 1) First, choose a window that opens outdoors – this is important so that the hot exhaust air from the air conditioner is dissipated efficiently away from the room. 2) The air conditioner must only be used on a flat, stable surface. 3) The air conditioner must not be used in the bathroom, laundry, kitchen or other places where water or other liquids could splash onto it.

    Operation Before Use - Check that the Exhaust Hose has been mounted properly (see ‘Installation’ section). If the Exhaust Hose is not correctly used, hot air will blow back into the room you are trying cool. - Check that the drain plug at the bottom rear of the unit is securely plugged in, to preve water leaks (see ‘8.

    6. On-Timer Operation - When the air-conditioner is OFF, press the “Timer” button and select (with the “Temp+”and “Temp-” buttons) a time after which the air conditioner will turn ON. - The time period can be set in 1-hour increments (up to 24 hours) and is shown in the LED Display 7.

    2. Cleaning the outer surfaces of the Air Conditioner Do not wash the unit directly with water; use a clean cloth (lightly dampened with water and some neutral detergent if necessary) to wipe away dirt, then use a dry cloth to thoroughly dry the unit before further use.

    Mode d’emploi Avant utilisation - Vérifiez que le tuyau d’évacuation soit correctement monté (voir la section ‘installation’). Si ce n’est pas le cas, de l’air chaud sortira de l’unité au lieu d’un air frais afin de rafraîchir la pièce. - Vérifiez que le bouchon de vidange au dos de l'appareil soit bien branché, pour prévenir toute fuite d'eau (voir ‘Vidange du réservoir’).

    Nettoyage et Rangement IMPORTANT : • Avant le nettoyage, veillez à débrancher l'appareil du secteur. • Avant le stockage, il est important de vider totalement l'eau présente dans le réservoir (voir Section «Fonctionnement»). 1. Nettoyage du filtre à air Si le filtre à air est bouché par la poussière / saleté, il doit être nettoyé. Il est recommandé de procéder au nettoyage du filtre une fois toutes les deux semaines d'utilisation.

    Belangrijke Veiligheids Instructies 1. Lees alle instructies en bewaar ze voor toekomstig gebruik. 2. Deze airconditioner moet altijd rechtop vervoerd, gebruikt en bewaard worden. 3. Na het transport moet de airconditioner rechtop staan voor minstens 6 uur, voor het aangezet kan worden.

    Installatie Locatie: 1) Kies een locatie nabij een raam dat naar buiten toe opent - dit is belangrijk, zodat de warme lucht van de airconditioner op een efficiënte manier uit de kamer kan worden afgevoerd. 2) De airconditioner mag alleen worden gebruikt op een vlakke en stabiele ondergrond. 3) De airconditioner kan niet worden gebruikt in een badkamer, wasplaats, keuken of andere plaats waar water of andere vloeistoffen kunnen spatten.
  • Page 31 Aansluiten op de Raam aansluit set: 1. Plaats de Raam aansluit set in het raam dichtbij waar de airconditioner komt te staan. Schuif hierna de Raam aansluit set zo ver als mogelijk uit (zie het bovenstaande diagram) 2. Schuif het raam zo, dat er geen ruimte zit tussen het raam en de Raam aansluit set (dit is belangrijk om te voorkomen dat er geen buitenlucht in de kamer komt).
