2.2 Adjusting the cutting depth
The cutting depth should be set according to the
thickness of the material.
2.3 Edge trimming
Mark the nap channel with the carpet awl
against the pile line. This provides the carpet awl
with a good guide. Each seam edge is trimmed
separately.
To do so, the device must be slid through
the nap channel quickly.
The trimmed edge (long side) now runs parallel to all nap
rows.
2.4 Producing the seam
The neatly trimmed carpet seams can now be joined
together using textile adhesive, seaming tape or
double-sided adhesive tape.
You can produce a precise, invisible seam in next to no time.
