f Push the filter frame towards the filter so that you can
slide it past the locking tab. Pull out the filter frame.

f Check to see how heavily contaminated the filter is.
if the filter is heavily contaminated (solid layer of dust or dis-
tinct discolouration), you must replace the filter with a new
one. if the filter is only lightly contaminated, you can continue
to use it.
f if the filter needs to be replaced, remove it carefully and
dispose of it with household waste.
f Clean the filter box, e.g. with a vacuum cleaner.

f insert the new filter. Pay attention to the direction of flow.
f Check the filter for a correct, airtight fit.

f insert the filter frame into the appropriate guide slot.
At the bottom, the filter frame is held in position in a
V-shaped groove. Push the filter frame down far enough
that it clicks into place below the locking tab.
f Position the cover on the filter box.
f Secure the cover by tightening the star grip screws by
hand.
f enter the maintenance data (date for next check) into the
label on the filter box.
f if necessary, perform a filter reset on the control unit.
f Switch the ventilation system back On again.
f Order new filters in good time.
