4099 Electric Firebox Quick Info Sheet
WHAT/WHERE TO FIND ITEMS INCLUDED WITH THE ELECTRIC FIREBOX & GENERAL
INFORMATION
The instructions and remote are all together in one bag that is taped to the top of the Styrofoam around the top of the
firebox. If the firebox is opened upside down; all the packaging should be removed from the box to find the remote
and instructions.
The firebox Clips are now pre-attached to the right and left side of the firebox itself.
The screen is already installed on the firebox. It has two twist ties on the top and bottom of each panel. The
customer will need to be careful removing the twist ties because the rod supporting the screen panels can bend
easily.
The back panel shows the UL information and electrical information (Rating: 120V, 60Hz; Classment: 1400W)
The Serial number for the firebox is located on the back panel of the firebox underneath the UL Sticker.
The back panel also shows a wiring diagram for certified electricians to reference for services if needed.
There are no instructions on how to change the bulbs. Since they are LED bulbs, they will last the lifetime of the
firebox.
The firebox also gives a maximum of 4780 BTU PH; and if ran for 24 hrs would cost under $5.00 a day (estimate).
ISSUES WITH REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control will not operate without turning on the firebox manually first.
If the firebox is turned off with the remote, the settings will be saved until turned on again with the remote only.
If turned off manually, it will reset the firebox and the remote will no longer work until it is turned on again
manually. (The instructions included with the firebox are incorrect for the manual operation and it will not maintain
the last settings used if turned off manually.)
There is a plastic battery protector tab in the remote to save battery life while in the packaging. It must be removed
before trying to use the remote.
Remote sensor is on the right side of the Display on the firebox. If the remote is pointed to high or on too much of
an angle, it will not read and will not operate correctly.

Light Settings go from 5-1(L5 is the brightest and L1 is the lowest)
