The device is designed for mixing both liquid and
powder solvent-free products like paint, grout, plaster
and other similar substances.
The device may not be used for preparing foodstuffs.
The device is not suitable for mixing materials con-
taining powdered graphite, brine or slurry. Using it to
mix these substances may destroy the device.
• Symbols affixed to your device may not be
removed or covered. Information on the device
that is no longer legible must be replaced immedi-
ately.

Installation
Risk of injury if switched on acciden-
tally! Pull out the power plug before con-
ducting any work on the device.
Mounting the stirrer basket
– Screw the mixing shaft (2) to the tool holder (3).
– Counter hold the tool holder using a 17 AF open-
ended spanner and tighten the mixing shaft using
a 22 AF open-ended spanner.
– Screw the mixing paddle (1) to the mixing
shaft (2).
Using for the first time
Charging the battery pack
Rechargeable battery and charger are not
part of the scope of delivery and are availa-
ble optionally from your dealer (► Acces-
sories – p. 16).
Risk of injury! Comply with all safety
instructions when handling rechargeable
devices.
Risk of damage to the unit! Do not allow
the battery pack to deep discharge.
If the battery is fully loaded, the charger
automatically switches over to the mainte-
nance charge function. The battery can thus
remain in the charger permanently.
The battery pack must be charged prior to the first
start-up (charging time: ► Technical data – p. 15).

The charging status is displayed by the control
light (12).
Checking the remaining capacity of the battery
– Press the button (10).
The remaining capacity of the battery is displayed by
the control lights on the display (9).
