Materials or objects must not be placed on the tube, as this
may damage the tube.
•
Only spare parts (heated tube, power supply unit) recommen-
ded for the ComfortTube System by HOFFRICHTER may be
used.
•
The ComfortTube may only be operated using the power sup-
ply unit supplied with it. Products from other manufacturers
must not be used.
•
The power supply unit must not be cleaned using water or
other liquids.
•
The power supply unit must not be immersed or brought into
contact with water or any other liquid.
•
If the tube is damaged (holes, creases, tears, exposed heating
cables, etc.) or no longer functional, do not try to repair it by
yourself. Replace the tube immediately.
•
Immediately replace the mains cable if the insulation or the
plug is damaged.
•
Dispose of the tube in accordance with local legislation.
•
Label the tube so that it is not used by another patient before
its fi nal disposal.
