To avoid increased therapy air temperature, the ComfortTube
System must not be used near sources of heat, such as lamps,
electric blankets, etc. In addition, the therapy tube must not be
covered with insulation sleeves (either made of fabric or plas-
tic), cloths or other objects. Increased therapy air temperature
can cause irritation of the airways.
•
The ComfortTube System must only be used when the respira-
tory therapy device's blower is switched on.
•
The tube must not be heated or sterilized.
•
The tube may only be used by one patient.
•
After washing, the tube must not be dried using a (microwave)
oven, a hairdryer or other devices. Observe the cleaning inst-
ructions.
•
The interior of the tube must not be cleaned with brushes or
objects, as this can damage the tube.
•
Do not disassemble the tube or damage it.
•
Objects must not be inserted into the tube opening or allowed
to fall into it.
