Intended use
This device is intended for inflating car and bicycle tyres, inflatable toys, and sports and beach articles. It is not
suitable for large inflatable objects such as dinghies or supersize airbeds.
The device is unsuitable for professional use.
Safety instructions – battery air pump
•
Check the appliance for damage before you switch it on, and only use it in fault-free condition.
•
Keep your air pump in a dry place out of children's reach.
•
Note the permitted maximum pressure. Do not inflate objects to overpressure.
•
Make sure that the connecting nut on the pressure hose is securely seated. Make sure that it cannot come
loose as you use the pump.
•
Never point the air outlet at people or animals.
•
Always use the battery and charger included with the device.
Safety instructions – battery and charger
•
Always use the power supply unit (12) supplied to recharge the battery.
•
Never expose the battery pack (6) or power supply unit (12) to rain or moisture.
•
Only charge the battery pack (6) at ambient temperatures of 10–40°C.
•
Always connect the power supply unit (12) to a 230V AC mains power supply.
•
Never under any circumstances attempt to dismantle the battery pack.
•
Do not insert foreign objects into the charging socket of the battery pack.
•
Do not throw the battery into fire or water – explosion hazard.
•
Disposable and rechargeable batteries must be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner, and do not
belong in domestic waste. You are legally required to dispose of old batteries at public municipal collection
points or wherever batteries of the same type are sold.
•
Replace the power supply unit if the connecting cable is damaged.
