• To recharge, you only need to connect the battery to the charger, as specified in the user's manual
supplied with the battery charger, and connect the plug to the electrical outlet automatically when
connected.
• During the recharge process, the illuminated LED signals on the charge base indicate the recharge
level underway.
RECHARGE ERROR:
If an error occurs during the recharge of the battery, the recharge process will stop. If this happens,
check the following:
• That the electrical current is connected to the plug
• That the plug is solidly connected
• That the charge level indicator on the battery charger is on. If certain that the first two checks are
positive, disconnect the recharger unit from the electrical outlet and reconnect it.
• If the problem still exists, contact an authorized service centre.
Impact of temperature on the power of the battery:
The battery can overheat easily during use of the machine or during recharging. Its maximum efficiency
is guaranteed when it is operated at the median level of the indicated temperature limits.
The life of the battery be slightly reduced in batteries in cold temperatures compared to the ones at
room temperature.
Recharging the battery in conditions of high or low temperature:
The battery should be within the recommended limits of temperature during use, as well as during the
recharge phase.
The battery will be optimally recharged when the recharge temperature is approximately at the median
level of the recommended temperature limits.
Too cold or too hot batteries can take more time to recharge or may not get completely recharged.
NOTE:
It can occur that old batteries, cold batteries, or batteries used for a long time, or not used in optimal
conditions as specified in this manual, can develop high resistance. Contact the manufacturer for
instructions regarding what to do.
Transport of the battery
Ensure that the battery does not get damaged during transport or shipment.
Avoid exposing the battery to high temperatures or strong vibrations.
WARNING FOR DAMAGED BATTERIES
• Batteries with damaged casing, and those form which substances can leak, or those who become too
warm or emit unusual odors, MUST NOT be used nor transported.
• Damaged batteries or those which leak fluids or substances, must be handled with disposable rubber
gloves, while wearing protective goggles and only in well-ventilated areas.
• Dispose of the rubber glove and the damaged batteries in conformity with the regulations and
guidelines of the local area.
