Based on in vitro studies, we recommend defining the maximum
preparation depth at the coronal end of the apex interval on the display
of the endometer used.
Calibration
✔ The manufacturer of the endometer stipulates that a calibration must
be performed.
1. Insert a file into the contra-angle handpiece [ → 22].
2. Connect the cable of the file clamp (without the actual file clamp)
onto the clip of the instrument.
3. Perform the calibration in accordance with the equipment
manufacturer's specifications.
