Utilisation:
- RESOPAL SpaStyling
made-to-measure and do not need to be shortened.
- The kind of utilization of the shower space (splash
protection, movement area, etc.) is to be considered.
- For the installation of the shower system a level, clean,
solid surface free of vibrations and suited for fastening
with Flex tile adhesive must be available.
- The correct fitting of the discharge element is to be
checked.
- The shower system is in general wheelchair-acces-
sible.
- Suitable only for use indoor.
- Ascending connections must be made at a minimum
distance of 3 mm between floor and Resopal Spa Sty-
ling wall cladding. A minimum distance of 4 mm must
be maintained between the floor-level Resopal Spa
Styling shower system and the adjacent floor. These
connections must be sealed durably with silicone!
These connections are maintenance joints!
Please observe the manufacturer's instructions.
The relevant processing guidelines for all trades
working on the job and for the accessories to be
fitted need be observed.
During fitting, protect the surface from damage
using a suitable material such as cardboard.
During installation, care must be taken to ensure

a suitable substructure, which must be provided
by the contractor.
The following are permissible:
- mortar-coated hard foam boards
- EPS substructures with at least 25g/l
- screed base
The height of the substructure must be selected
based on the discrepancy in height between the
unfinished floor and the finished floor (see instal-
lation examples as well).

Edge insulation strips are to be provided locally.

Apply Flex tile adhesive onto both sides (dual

adhesive).
The drain fitting must possibly be lined with suit-
4
able sound absorbing material.
After installation of the drain fitting, a leakage
5
test and a seal-tight test must be carried out.
Before closing the drain pipe, be sure to wrap
6
the pipe and soundproof the pipe completely.
Install the RESOPAL SpaStyling
7
aligned evenly in a balanced position and weigh
it down in the areas shown in picture 12.
Next, the gradient lines to the drain must be
checked under expected conditions.
The processing instructions of the sealing system

are to be observed.
Fold the corners of the sealing tape at the

pre-marked points. The sealing tape and the re-
sulting overlaps must be completely sealed with
sealing compound.
Insert the sealing tape into the applied sealing

compound.
Cover sealing tape with KMK sealing compound.

Follow the installation instructions for the drain
12
body. The installation key must be kept for main-
tenance purposes.
