11. Close supervision is required when children are nearby the plugged in ("O") or
switched on appliance.
12. Never allow the power cord to come in contact with wet or hot surfaces.
Furthermore it never should be twisted or within the reach of children.
13. Never use this appliance outdoors.
14. Do not place the unit on or near a gas or electric oven or stove.
15. Never use the appliance if the power cord or power plug is damaged or other
malfunctions or damages occurred. It must be always inspected or repaired by the
manufacturer or an authorized service agent.
16. Only use this appliance for the purpose it's intended for.
17. Do not place the heater directly below a power socket.
18. This appliance is intended for household use only.
19. Do not leave the heater ON overnight.
20. While cleaning, make sure to use a dry and soft or a lightly damp cloth. Never
immerse the unit in water to avoid an electric circuit.
21. Do not use this unit in any area where water is present.
22. Make sure the power cord is placed at the back and faces away from the heater's
front panel.
23. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
24. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the
appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal
operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the
appliance or perform user maintenance.
CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause
burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable
people are present.
25. The fan-heater never should be placed near a power socket.
OVERHEATING SAFETY DEVICE
Your heater is fitted with a safety device that switches the heater off in the event of
overheating. If the heater stops working, then turn the function switch to "O" and
remove the power plug from the socket. Leave the unit turned off for several minutes
that it can cool down (at least 5 min). If the overheating safety device shuts down after
a short time again then the unit might be defective. In this case the appliance should
be inspected by the manufacturer or an authorized service agent.
