CONTROL VIA SUPERVISION WITHOUT USER INTERFACE
As shown in the figure, by inserting the VMF-IO expansion board you can control the fan coils via the VMF-E5 panel or third
party BMS systems without the need for VMF-E4/E2 user interfaces. To ensure the fan coils work properly however, an air
probe must be installed on the machine.
When the VMF-IO expansion is used, systems requiring local TTL networks cannot be managed.
WORK SUPERVISION NETWORK
The VMF-E19 control board has been designed to be able to connect with control and / or supervision systems that
communicate in Work, through the use of the VMF-LON expansion.
For further information regarding the technical specifications (physical connection, data exchanged, system settings) of the
LonWork protocol, refer to the documentation of the VMF-LON expansion.
SYSTEM LED
The system LED on the VMF-E19 thermostat provides information about system operation:

Flashing every second: the thermostat is working normally
•
Flashing every 100ms: the thermostat has one of the following faults:

Ambient probe fault.
○
Fan coils working in anti-freeze mode
○
Water alarm not suitable for operation
○
User interface disconnected
○
Inverter control alarm
