To maintain optimal performance, the Pre-Motor Filter will need cleaning whenever the suction is not strong. The Pre-
Motor Filter must be clean and free of elements, which might hinder the flow of air.
. Turn the Power Button to the OFF position and unplug the unit.
. Pull the Collection Bin outward from the front of the Bin Cavity. Grasp the Collection Bin Grip firmly and lift it out
and away from the EYEVAC HOME Main Unit. Locate the Pre-Motor Filter Handle.
. Remove the Pre-Motor Filter by grasping the Pre-Motor Filter Handle and turning counter-clockwise
. IMPORTANT! Dry thoroughly before use.
. Slide the Pre-Motor Filter back into the top of the Collection Bin. Rotate clockwise to the
IMPORTANT! NEVER OPERATE THE EYEVAC HOME WITHOUT THE PRE-MOTOR FILTER PROPERLY IN PLACE.

CLEANING THE MICRO EXHAUST FILTER HOLDER
1. The Micro Exhaust Filter Holder slides up and out of its housing on the side of the unit.
2. Gently pull the Filter out of the Filter Holder. (See Figure 4)
3. Tap Filter gently against trash container to free and eliminate excess dirt and debris. (See Figure 5)
4. To clean the Filter, wash in mild soap and water; rinse and dry thoroughly before using the unit.
5. If a new Filter is needed, replace with standard filter cartridges. Make sure that it fits snugly in the Filter Holder.
Replacement Filters are available through the Customer Service Department.
6. Slide the Holder back into the unit with the Filter facing outwards.
IMPORTANT! NEVER OPERATE EYEVAC HOME WITHOUT THE MICRO EXHAUST FILTER AND FILTER HOLDER
PROPERLY IN PLACE.
The Collection Bin should be washed periodically.
Wash the Bin in warm water using a mild soap. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners or sponges. Rinse thoroughly. TO
AVOID DAMAGE, DO NOT PLACE COLLECTION BIN IN THE DISHWASHER.
Let it air dry. Make sure the Collection Bin is completely dry before putting it back into the

IMPORTANT NOTES
Other than cleaning the Pre-Motor Filter and replacing the Micro Exhaust Filter Holder, as described in this
Manual, this Automatic Vacuuming Dust Bin is not user serviceable. There are no user serviceable parts inside the
unit. Servicing by our Authorized Service Center is required to avoid damage to internal components.
