WARNING
• Non-observance of the following notes may result in personal
injury or material damage (electric shock, skin burns, fire). The
following safety and hazard information is not only intended
to protect your health and the health of others, it should also
protect the product. For this reason, pay attention to these safety
notes and include these instructions when handing over the
product to others.
• This infrared lamp is only intended for radiating the human body.
• Always use the protective goggles supplied during usage.
• Always use the infrared lamp with the protective cover in place.
• Never remove the protective cover during use. Only remove the
protective cover when changing the infrared lamp.
• Before use, ensure that all packaging materials are removed and
that there is no visible damage to the unit or accessories. When
in doubt, do not use the unit and contact our Customer Services
department.
• Always ensure that the appliance is on a secure and even surface.
• The lamp housing and the infrared lamp become very hot during
operation. There is a risk of burning if these are touched! Always
let the lamp cool down first before touching it.
• Inflammable objects must be kept at a distance of at least 1 meter
from the infrared lamp. Do not hang the appliance on the wall or
from the ceiling.
• Connect the unit only to the mains voltage listed on the type
plate.
• Do not immerse the appliance into water and do not use it in
wet rooms.
• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with restricted physical, sensory or mental capabilities and/or by
persons lacking the required understanding of the equipment
and how it is used, unless they are supervised by a person who is
responsible for their safety or they are given instructions on how
to use the device.
• Do not use on babies and small children.
