Notes on transporting children
Passengers and drivers must wear bicycle helmets at all times.
Do not use the trailer with children under 12 months or over 5 years of age
or with an upper body height of 595 mm (23.5").
Children must be able to hold their head up with their helmet on. Talk to
your paediatrician to ensure that your child's development makes them a
suitable passenger in this trailer.
Accessories or packages placed in the trailer may cause it to change its
balance and become unstable.
Always ride slower with a trailer than if you were riding without the trailer.
You need an additional stopping distance. Use your brakes early. Ride
through curves very slowly.
Do not ride faster than 8 mph (13 km/h) and reduce speed to 3 mph (5
km/h) when turning.
Use the trailer only on smooth roads. Do not ride over curbs, potholes or
off-road.
Do not attach a child car seat or other seating device to this trailer.
Do not make any modifications to the trailer.
Children must always wear seat belts and cycle helmets.
Instruct children not to rock, bounce, lean out or extend limbs from the
trailer.
Attach a rear-view mirror to your bicycle to be able to check the children
while riding in the trailer.
Never leave children unattended in the trailer.
Apply all brakes when parking the vehicle.
Always use the flag supplied with the trailer so that others can see the
trailer.
Children must not assemble, fold or disassemble the trailer.
Periodically check all fasteners to make sure they are tight.
Note: Do not carry more than two children. If you are towing only one
child in the trailer, place the child in the middle of the trailer. Exceeding the
capacity may cause the trailer to become unstable.
