CARE AND STORAGE
CLEANING
•
Clean the solar panel from dust and debris on a regular basis using a damp cloth. Do not use che-
micals or aggressive substances to clean the unit. A dirty solar cell does not charge the batteries
correctly. It will cause premature ageing of batteries and device malfunction.
•
While cleaning, be sure not to scratch the solar panel.
•
In winter, clean snow or other deposits from the solar panel to allow charge.
STORAGE
•
Turn the garland light off (by pressing the ON/OFF button).
•
Store it in a way that the solar sensor can capture a little light on a daily basis and transmit it to the
battery. The battery needs energy to maintain a certain load during the storage period.
•
When storing the lamp for a longer period (e.g. during winter) over four months, please charge the
batteries regularly. Place the garland light panel in the sun during several days (3-4 days). The
batteries will charge even if the lamp stays on OFF.
