OPERATION
Solar lamps are designed for outdoor use. They are ideal for lighting gardens and lawns at night. The in-
tegrated rechargeable battery is recharged by the solar cell on the upper part of the lamp. In the dark, the
garland light turns on automatically (if it is in «ON» mode). It turns off automatically during the day.
NOTE:
Please fully charge the device before first use.
•
To turn it on, press the ON/OFF button on the back of the solar panel.
•
During the day, the the solar panel absorbs light and converts solar energy into electricity and re-
charges the battery.
PLEASE NOTE: Solar energy and sun should not be mistaken. Sun isn't enough. You need light
(even through a window) for your device to work.
Green solar energy charges the batteries and enables the use of this garland light independently
from the power grid. Note that the installation location of the solar module requires direct sunlight to
provide best performance. Do not place the module in the shade and point it to the south, if possible.
•
After dark, the garland light automatically turns on according to the last selected mode and uses the
energy stored during the day.
NOTE: You can check if the lamp is working by shading the solar panel with your hand.
The numbers of hours of operation depends on your geographical area, weather and season.
NOTE: When solar radiation on the solar module is low and during winter months, lighting
time will be reduced. Prolonged periods without sunlight don't allow to recharge the battery
enough and to provide ongoing operational state. This doesn't mean that the garland light is
defective. Wait for the next sunny days and the lamp will operate normally again.
You can "collect" sunlight and charge the battery during several days by turning the switch to "OFF". On the
day you want, place the switch on "ON"; you will have enough light for your long nights.
