ADJUST STAINLESS STEEL MAIN
GRILL BURNERS, SEAR BURNER
AND COOKTOP BURNER LOW
SETTING
Normally, burners do not need further
adjustment. Make adjustments only when
necessary.
A. Turn on the gas.
B. Turn both burners on highest setting and check
the flames. They should be blue. LP models may
have some yellow tips at the ends. Turn burners
to OFF.
C. Turn one burner knob to its lowest setting.
D. To adjust the flame, remove the knob. Insert a
thin flat-blade screwdriver into the hole in the
center of the valve stem to engage the screw.
E. Watch the flame.
Grip the shaft with
pliers and slowly
turn the screwdriver
counterclockwise
to make the flame
larger or clockwise
to make the flame
smaller.
F. Adjust the flame to a minimum stable flame size.
Repeat as necessary for all burners.

OPERATION CHECKLIST
A. Replace burner grates, knobs and rear access
cover.
B. Make sure all controls are left in the OFF
position.
C. Check again to be sure all installation steps
have been completed.
Record conversion:
1. Complete the required information on the
conversion sticker and adhere to the underside
of the drip tray adjacent to the rating label.
The conversion sticker MUST reflect the size of
the orifice used.
2. In the last page of the Owner's Manual write
"Converted to Altitude XX feet." Also record the
conversion date and the technician/company
that performed the conversion.
