CHANGE COOKTOP BURNER
ORIFICES (on some models)

emove side burner grates and burner caps.

B. Use a 10 mm nutdriver to remove the brass
orifices from the inside of the burner.

C. Select the correct size orifice from the
"Monogram Grills – Orifice Chart." Install the
new orifice into the gas valve. Use a 10 mm
nutdriver to tighten. The orifice is stamped for
identification.
D. Replace the burner caps and grates.

ADJUST STAINLESS STEEL MAIN
GRILL BURNERS and AIR SHUTTERS
(if necessary)
A. Remove grates and diffusers.
B. Turn on one grill burner. Observe the flame.
C. The flame should be blue and may have some
yellow tips at the ends. The flame should be
stable with no excessive noise or lifting. A
yellow flame indicates there is not enough air.
If the flame lifts away from the burner, this
indicates there is too much air.
D. Remove the burner and loosen the air shutter
screw.
– If the flame is yellow, turn the air shutter
to enlarge the opening.
– If the flame is noisy or lifting, turn the air
shutter to make the opening smaller.
E. Tighten the air shutter screw and replace the
burner.
F. Test the burner again.
G. Repeat this process to test and adjust all
burners.
