The top tether fastens the safety seat even more
securely

Not all vehicles have an anchor point for the Top
Tether (even if they are fitted with Isofix), and the
location may be different depending on the type
of vehicle. Check this information in the vehicle
manual.
13. To lengthen the top tether when you want to use
it, press the button on the adjustment device and
pull the strap
14. Insert the strap through one of the slots.
15. Attach the top tether hook to the anchor point.
Check that the strap is not twisted.
16. Tighten the top tether strap.
17. The indicators of the top tether strap adjustment
device should be fully green. Tighten the strap or
fit it again if the indicator displays the red signal.
18. Check that the safety seat is firmly secure.
19. Pull the strap adjustment device.
20. Meanwhile, pull the shoulder straps.
21. Press the red button to open the seat belt buckle.
22. Place the belts to the sides of the safety seat and
put the child in the seat.
23. Adjust the headrest ring.
24. Adjust the headrest to the correct height for the
child
The headrest must be at the correct height or it
is not safe.
25. Close the seat belt buckle.
26. Tighten the harness.
Check that you can slip your hand in a flat position
between the shoulder straps and the child.
