Operation

a) Set the time, choose 12h-/24h mode, switch on/off the delete function for
maximum/minimum values
• Press and hold the "°C/°F/SET" button (5) for about 3 seconds until the hours of the time
flash.
• With the "RESET/▲" button (7) or "MAX/MIN/▼" (8) you can set up the hours of the time.
For a quick adjustment, press and hold down the corresponding button for a while.
• Press the "°C/°F/SET" button briefly (5), until the minutes of the time flash.
• With the "RESET/▲" button (7) or "MAX/MIN/▼" (8) you can set up the hours of the time. For
a quick adjustment, press and hold down the corresponding button for a while.
• Press the "°C/°F/SET" button (5) briefly, until "12Hr" or "24Hr" flashes.
• Choose between the 12h or the 24h mode with the "RESET/▼" button (7) or "MAX/MIN/▼" (8).
For the 12h mode, the symbol "PM" appears in the display on the left next to the time during
the second half of the day.
• Press the "°C/°F/SET" button (5) briefly, until "ON" or "OFF" flashes.
• Choose whether the maximum and minimum values will be deleted at 0:00 with the buttons
"RESET/▲" (7) or "MAX/MIN/▼" (8).
"OFF" = Maximum/minimum values will not be automatically deleted
"ON" = Maximum/ minimum values will be automatically deleted at 0:00
• Press briefly the "°C/°F/SET" button (5) to leave the set-up mode.
The setting mode exits automatically when you do not press a button within approxi-
mately 20 seconds. The settings made until this stage will be saved.
b) Selecting the temperature units °C/°F
Briefly press the "°C/°F/SET" button (5) at the back to switch between °C (degrees Celsius)
and °F (degrees Fahrenheit).
c) Maximum/minimum values
Displaying the values
Briefly press and release the "MAX/MIN/▼" button (8) repeatedly, in order to toggle between
the following displays:
• Maximum values (indicator "MAX" on display)
• Minimum values ( indicator "MIN" on display)
• Current measured values
If no button is pressed for a few seconds, the current measurement values will auto-
matically appear.
Reset values
Press and hold the "RESET/▲" button (7) for 3 seconds. As a result, the saved maximum and
minimum values are deleted.
As described in a), the maximum and minimum values can be automatically deleted
at 0:00, if desired.
d) Comfort zone indicator
The comfort zone indicator (1) is located in the upper area of the display. The indicator is
generated based on the air humidity and temperature and shows you with a glance the current
room climate.
"DRY" = dry
"COMFORT" = optimal
"WET" = wet
Maintenance and cleaning

Apart from the occasional battery change, the product is maintenance-free for you.
Use a clean, dry and soft cloth for cleaning. Do not press too hard on the display, this may cause
scratch marks or the display to malfunction; furthermore, the display might break.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage (discolour) the housing or even impair operation.
Disposal

a) General
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste!
Dispose of the waste product in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
Remove the inserted batteries (or rechargeable batteries),if any, and dispose of
them separately from the product.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used/rechargeable
batteries; disposal in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with
this symbol to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is prohibited. The designa-
tions for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.
Used batteries, rechargeable batteries and coin cells can be returned to collection points in
your municipality, our stores or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries/coin cells are sold.
You will thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environ-
ment.
