HINTS FOR RECORDING

• Aim the microphone toward the desired sound source and place it as close
as possible to the sound source.
• Use one microphone max. for each single sound source. Use the fewest num-
ber of microphones as practical.
• Avoid placing microphones close to reflective surfaces.
• Use the wind cover when using the microphone outside.
• Avoid excessive handling to minimize pickup of mechanical noise and
vibration.
• Do not cover any part of the microphone grille with your hand.
