Selection of the different charging modes
The different charging modes is selected by the selection button
Normal charging is used on normal batteries (Wet, open type),
maintenance-free, GEL and sealed battery with a gas limit at 14.0 V in
Bulk charging, and 14.4V in Aftercharge.
Cold charging is used when the battery is below 5ºC and for most
AGM batteries. The gas limit is 14.4 V in Bulk charging, and 14.8V in
Aftercharge.
Boost mode is used when trying to repair deep discharged batteries,
and is further described on page 16. Boost is indicated with Normal and
Cold LED on simultaneously. Boost is selected by pressing the button
for 3 sec.
Supply Mode (Indication: Full LED constant):
The "Supply mode" is used as a power supply when the car is in a
showroom and the car´s facilities are used without the engine running.
Incase of overload, the Warning LED flashes. If heavy overload, the
charger switches off to protect it self.
If nothing is selected within 5 sec. the charger will start charging in the
mode selected last time.
