Do not attempt any direct intervention or repair but contact professionally qualified staff. If the power supply
cable is damaged, switch-off the appliance and contact only professionally qualified staff for its replacement.
All listed devices must be conform to the relative national standards in force; the manufacturer is not to be
considered responsible for plants that are not correctly executed and non-compliance with the standards.
START-UP
When commissioning the appliance it is necessary:
•
Open the cock supplying the softener.
•
Open a cock for air inside the ducts bleeds and the resins are washed. The outlet water may, for a few minutes,
be dark coloured. Leave it to run until is "cleaned", before using it.
•
Check for leaks from the hydraulic connections.
•
Connect the transformer plug to the specific socket in the rear part of the valve.
•
The software version of the board will be displayed for a few seconds upon commissioning and, subsequently,
the time with "Clock setting" flashing.
•
Use the UP and DOWN keys to vary the time, once current time is reached press OK to confirm. "Clock Setting"
will disappear and "Service" will be displayed permanent.
•
Fill the salt vat with water as follows:

MANUAL WATER FILLING
Pour one litre of water inside the salt container for each litre of resin contained in the softener cylinder.
(Example: for a 9 lc of resin softener, pour 9 litres of water). The water will subsequently be automatically
loaded.

AUTOMATIC WATER LOADING
•
Keep the DOWN key pressed until "Regeneration Start" is displayed. While the writing is displayed,
press the OK key twice until "F3" appears in the top-left corner. If it is overcome, press OK in
succession and the "F..." cycle will start again.
•
Wait for the display to show "Regeneration" and "F3" flashing.
•
After a few minutes, "Filling" will appear at top, "F3" permanently and the remaining time at the side,
until completion of operation.
•
At the end of the time, "Regeneration ending" will appear and, after a few minutes, the valve will go
back into service showing the current time and "Service".
•
Once the vat is loaded, check the valve suction. Press and keep the DOWN key pressed until "Regeneration
Start" is displayed and "F1" flashing. After a few minutes "F1" will appear permanently with the phase time. At
the end of the time, check if the resin suction was completed.
•
At the end of F1, press the DOWN key until "F3" is flashing to automatically load again the vat
checking if the first loading degree is followed.
•
Fill 3/4 of the salt container with SALT (salt in PADS is recommended as it has less impurities than coarse salt).
•
The valve is ready for performing cyclesautomatically.
