The pump operating in the vertical shaft must be furnished with hoisting cord, which must be fixed to the handle of the device.
When submersing, do not place the pump vertically in the liquid, but tilt it sideward (~45°) instead! The purpose of this is
for the air in the pump space not to form an air bag which would hinder the transportation. Lift out or place in the pump only
after having the connector plug disconnected from the mains! The floating switch mounted o the device will start up the pump
when the water reaches the level "ON", and keep it in operation until the water level decreases below the level "OUT". In the
case if the pump is connected to an established pipeline, it is recommended that the connecting pipe should be flexible for
facilitating the lifting-out of the pump. If the system conveying the liquid is fixed, then the disconnection of the pump from the
pipelines must be done above the liquid level!
If something hinders the impeller of the pump from rotating freely, then disconnect the device from the mains and the cleaning
may only be performed after that!
The pump may be used only when the failure is removed.
There is a protector relay installed in the pump which in case of irregular operation (high current consumption) will disconnect
the device from the mains and the device will remain disconnected until you draw out the connector plug from the connector
and keep it drawn out for minimum 1 minute. If you connect the device again to the mains after 1 minute, but it turns off again
in 10-15 seconds, then obviously the rotor or the impeller has got stuck somewhere. In this case act in accordance with those
written in the maintenance part.
WARNING! In order to avoid the risk caused by the uncontrolled reclosing of the protector relay, this device shall not be
connected to the mains with an external switch, for example a time switch, or insert it in such a circuit which is regularly
switched on and off by a service provider.
WARNING! Make sure that the floating switch stops the pump when reaching the
lowest liquid level!
Make sure that there is nothing to hinder the floating switch from moving!
