Remove the 2 extra studs and discard. Ensure
A1, A2, B1, and B2 are still in place (see burner
overview for more information).

Place log #1 over locating studs A1 and A2.
2i. Place glowing embers on the front burner, in front of the large clusters of ports (see step i for placement
details). The burner has been designed to have large fl ames in these locations. If not, blue fl ames will be present.

Place log #3 in between the 2 burners on the
left side of the pilot light. Ensure the front
locator rests against the left side of the pilot
shield and the front burner.

Lights
ii.
Spread an even layer of clear glass over the
ember bed lights, spreading the remaining
glass over the fi rebox fl oor. Accent the lights
with topaz glass (supplied). Optional: If
desired, place glowing embers along the
rear burner. This may take away from the
fl ame height.

Place log #2 over locating studs B1 and B2.
Ensure log #2 engages with log #1.

Place log #4 in between the 2 burners on the
right side of the pilot light. Ensure the rear
locating notch engages with the right side of
the rear burner, and the front locating notches
rest on the front burner. Do not cover burner
ports.
