Make it a system :
The Rail Saver Accessory kit has been designed to increase access to areas for repair and greater repair
finishing. The Universal mounting plate and full face pad are designed to mount to your Rail Saver at the two
hex head bolts at the working end of the tool.
The kit comes complete with :
(1) a universal mount plate
(2) a 3"x2"x3/8" threaded convex finishing pad
(3) a 7/8"x2"x3/8" threaded convex pad
(4) a ¾"x1"x3/4" threaded convex pad
(5) a full face convex push pad.

The two smaller threaded convex pads can be mounted to any hole
on the universal mount plate. Always mount threaded pads lengthwise
along the slide and front of the universal mount pad. Mounting the
pad in a way that they hang out away from the universal mount pad
will twist and damage the mount plate, and could damage your Rails
Saver unit as well.
These pads are designed to give increased access to areas around
weld nuts, brackets, and other internal rail obstructions.
The 3"x2"x3/8" convex finishing pad should only be mounted using all
three screws in the arranged layout. Using in any other configuration
WILL damage the universal mount plate and could damage your Rail
Saver unit as well. DO NOT USE FOR ROUGHING OUT DAMAGE.
The « Finishing » pad is designed for metal finishing, not roughing out
damage. The finishing pad has only a slight convex shape. Use the
finishing pad as a dolly inside the rail. Remember : don't BEAT the
metal, this will only stretch and work harden the metal. The object of
the finishing pad is to bring the HIGH areas back to level.
The « Full Face » is designed for « roughing out », and finishing sheet
metal side members.
It should not be used for roughing out full frame rails, that is the
purpose of the original half face convex pad. The half face pad has a
smaller contact area for a great concentration of power for frame
vehicles.
