The motherboard SF0309A and the power board SF0289A are responsible for
managing the controls of 10 dispensing columns and the different methods of
payment.
To enable system programming from the card, the minimum number of columns
has been limited to 5 in order to make available the 4 keys necessary for
programming.
During servicing, you can use a menu to reset all the motors or test the working
order of each motor.
To access the menu, press the "Service" key found on the motherboard or the
external "Service" key connected to the CN8 connector; now, the display shown
the "Service" message on row 1 and the selection on row 2.

You can enable/disable the password for accessing the programming menu.
If you wish to use a password, the system will require you to enter a 4-digit
code entered using a combination of dispensing keys; then, you will be
asked to confirm the password by entering the same sequence again. To
change an existing password, input the old one first; then, enter the new
one.
Note: you can bypass the inputted password by disabling the password
request. To do this, press the service key for at least 5 seconds; in this way,
you will access the menu requesting whether you want to delete the
password.
You can display the machine internal temperature by pressing the dispensing
keys "5421" in sequence (make sure that you do not let more than 1 second
pass after pressing each key).
The temperature is displayed for at least 30 seconds, or you can return to
the normal display mode if you repeat the sequence "5421".
Note:The use of the selection keys for displaying the machine temperature
from outside using the specified code involves setting a minimum number
of selections equal to 5.
If the clock chip is fitted, the system automatically recognizes it and enables
the different control menus.
If you enable the feature that automatically switches the machine ON and
OFF, during the "machine OFF" phase, the compressor continues to work
regularly, but all the methods of payment and the selection keys are disabled;
furthermore, the display shows the message: "MACHINE OFF".
You can set the switching ON time and the switching OFF time valid for all the days of the week.
During the "machine OFF" phase, even the control output of the internal neon of the machine is
disabled.
To set the price, you can enter amounts from 0 to 65535; if the price is zero, the selection is disabled,
the "product unavailable" LED switches ON, and the display must shown the "INVALID SELECTION"
message when the product is selected.
The system can be used with the following methods of payment:
- executive coin box with change given
- MDB coin box with change given
- MDB electronic key
- six-coin validating device
Before making the selection, you must enter the right amount for the product to be dispensed. If the
selection key is pressed before inserting the required amount, the display will show the amount that
must still be inserted and await the amount due.
Once the right amount has been paid, the product selection key must be pressed again to dispense
the product.
When the product is being dispensed, all the methods of payment are disabled.
Note: if you use the MDB key, the key can be recharged to its maximum limit when money is inserted
into the coin box.
If the download audit data option is enabled in the sales menu, the serial protocol is enabled for EVA-
DTS communication; thus, simply connect a terminal for downloading the data using a "Flash/serial"
connector. The transmission protocol remains active until you quit the sales data menu.
A product is dispensed when the selection key is pressed and the right amount has been paid.
Otherwise, the display will show the amount due for the selected product, and the system will wait for
you to insert the remaining balance; once the right amount has been paid, press the selection key
again to dispense the product.
While waiting for you to make a selection, the system cyclically shows the following messages on the
first row:
"Make selection"
"Insert amount"
"No change given"
If the selected method of payment is a coin box that gives change with the Executive or MDB
protocol, the message "No change given" will read "Change given" if the coin box has an adequate
amount of coins in the tubes.
When inserting the credit, the second row shows the inserted amount of credit.
When dispensing the product, the system will display the message "Wait..." on the first row of the
display.
